Flag

Flag football is a great introduction to youth sports and is open to players grades K through 2nd grade.

Flag is played without helmets or shoulder pads and does not require tackling or any of the other equipment associated with tackle football.

Play consists of players handing, tossing or throwing the ball to other players on their team, while the players on the opposing side attempt to grab the flag of the player carrying the ball.

Players wear belts with detachable colored flags around their waists, which the other players attempt to snatch off as they carry the ball.  When the ball-carriers flag is taken off, this ends the play and the teams get back in formation to begin a new play.  It is a fun activity that involves a good amount of exercise and teamwork.

Flag takes place every Saturday at Williams Middle School during our youth football season (flag starts the Saturday after Labor Day).

The first hour is reserved for practice and during the second-hour players will participate in a flag game.  They will need cleats, shorts, and a t-shirt.

Registration - $100

Refund policy - Full refunds are available prior to the first day of practice/games.  No refunds after the first day of practices/games.
